The Interlake Mecalux IB59ET14400RSA2000 is a heavy-duty, non-slotted pallet rack beam designed to work with Interlake Mecalux tear drop upright frames. This orange, 144-inch beam is manufactured from high-strength roll-formed steel with welded end plates and a continuous seam weld at the base, delivering a rigid support member for palletized loads. The designed tear drop end plates slot into the upright frame and the beam is secured with two safety, sprung-loaded locking devices per beam, creating a piston-style connection that seats and locks automatically to help protect against beam displacement and accidental disengagement in demanding environments. The beam width and height, along with the single-piece construction, support consistent load transfer across the rack level, contributing to overall system stability when paired with compatible uprights and decking.
Documented compatibility is limited to Interlake Mecalux pallet rack systems that utilize tear drop bolted or welded uprights, as this beam is specified for those configurations. The product is noted for use in non-seismic areas, and it bears Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI) certification, signaling alignment with recognized industry standards for pallet rack components. Practically, buyers should verify frame compatibility and uprights before ordering, and be mindful that the item is not stocked in our warehouse, which may affect processing times and delivery options. If a specific delivery date is required, contacting the supplier prior to purchase is advised to explore available shipping arrangements.
