Its tear-drop end plates slot into the upright frame and are retained by two safety, sprung-loaded locking devices per beam, providing a piston-style frame-to-beam connection that helps resist unintended displacement in demanding storage environments. The beam features a 2.75-inch height, and a 2-3/4 inch wide tear-drop profile that accommodates cross bars and decking, with a rated shelf capacity of 5,610 lbs per level in appropriate, non-seismic applications.
