The Vestil PDSG-1WA-008 Personal Desk Shield Guard is a compact, personal protection accessory designed for crowded or shared classroom settings. Featuring a lightweight corrugated paper board frame and a clear plastic window, this shield provides a personal barrier between the user and surrounding activity while still allowing visibility. The design emphasizes easy setup and simple cleaning, making it suitable for frequent use in environments where desks are shared or close together.
Key construction details include a removable window, four corner security tabs for attachment, and a fold-flat capability for compact storage when not in use. The unit’s dimensions are specified as 20" x 10" x 17.5" and it is finished in blue, with a single window to maintain visibility of the user’s surroundings. The paper-based frame keeps the product lightweight, enabling quick deployment and removal as seating arrangements change throughout the day. Regular cleaning with soap and water is compatible with the window material, supporting routine sanitization in school or similar settings.
Ideal use scenarios include classrooms, tutoring areas, and other places where students share desks or workspaces. Consider practical logistics such as storage when not in use, and ensure the shield is properly folded and stored to maintain its flat form. Since the window is mounted with four corner security tabs, verify alignment prior to use to ensure the shield remains securely in place during ordinary desk activity. This product is packaged per each unit, and its blue color provides a distinct, unobtrusive appearance within educational environments.
