The Vestil PDSG-1WA-005 Personal Desk Shield Guard is a lightweight, individual protection shield designed for classroom or crowded desk environments. Constructed with a corrugated paper board frame and a clear plastic window, this guard creates a personal, visually open barrier for each student while allowing unobstructed interaction with peers and the teacher. The removable window supports easy cleaning and sanitization, which is important for maintaining hygiene in shared spaces. When not in use, the unit folds flat for compact storage, helping to reduce space when multiple guards are deployed across a room.
Key features include a window that attaches with four corner security tabs, a single-pane transparent window, and a compact overall size of 20" x 10" x 17.5" in the listed packaging configuration. The combination of a paper-based frame and a single-window design aims to balance lightweight handling with functional personal protection in crowded desks. This product is sold under the Vestil brand and uses yellow coloration as specified, which can aid visibility and classroom organization. Users should ensure proper cleaning with soap and water, following standard sanitation practices for plastic surfaces to maintain clarity and hygiene of the window during use.
Consider this desk shield for individual desk setups, tutoring stations, or small-group arrangements where students need a personal barrier while still being able to view and interact with surroundings. The packaging indicates it is sold as "each" unit, so plan for individual deployment per desk, and be mindful of storage space for flat-folded guards when not in use. Maintenance is straightforward: wipe the plastic window and frame as needed, and store flat to preserve the integrity of the corrugated frame between educational sessions.
