The Savety Yellow Lite Duty Guardrail Rails are a lightweight, steel guardrail solution designed to delineate and protect work areas in facilities. These rails provide a simple, economical means to create temporary or semi-permanent barriers where traffic control or pedestrian separation is needed, helping to guide flow and reduce incidental contact with restricted zones.
Constructed from 14-gauge high-tensile steel, the Lite Duty rails offer a robust metal barrier with a rated impact capability of 5,000 lbs at 5 mph, which supports dependable performance in busy industrial environments. The design eliminates the need for extra hardware during installation, and sleeves are welded directly to the posts to avoid the complexity and cost of separate brackets. Rails fit 4" posts with an 8" x 8" base plate, and are available in heights of 18" and 42". Rail lengths span from 2' up to 10' in 1-foot increments, measured center-to-center of posts for accurate spacing. Optional 5/8" x 4.75" anchors can be provided upon request to further secure the installation.
These components are positioned as a practical option for facility maintenance and safety-conscious environments where a durable but economical guard rail is appropriate. Consider lead times of 2–3 weeks and factor shipping quotes into the purchasing process, as noted by the manufacturer. The product is categorized under Facility Maintenance and carries a distinct part number, SYPRAIL-LITE, under the Savety Yellow brand.
