The Interlake Mecalux 314964845E108A blue/orange bolted teardrop pallet rack starter is a modular storage solution designed for medium- to heavy-duty warehouse use. This assembled bolted pallet rack starter unit combines two upright frames with two pairs of shelf beams, enabling direct pallet access for efficient stock management. The tear drop uprights and wide-span beams are built from high-strength steel and are finished with a protective coating to withstand daily warehouse wear. The system uses a piston lock connection between frame and beam, which helps prevent accidental disengagement and provides a more tamper-resistant configuration. Beams feature a 1-5/8" step to accommodate wire decking and various accessories as needs evolve, while pre-punched footplates facilitate anchoring for stability and safety in installation.
Constructed to support substantial loads, the unit lists a generous shelf capacity and overall weight rating appropriate for mixed palletized products. The cataphoresis coating process contributes corrosion protection and uniform finish, which matters in environments with exposure to humidity, dust, or contact with bulk materials. Note that this item is not stocked in the seller’s warehouse, so processing and transit times may vary. If you have a strict delivery date, contacting the supplier before ordering is advised, and expedited shipping availability may differ. The product is compatible with additional Interlake Mecalux racking components (sold separately) to extend or reconfigure the storage system and is certified by Rack Manufacturers Institute (RMI).
