Constructed for durability, the leveler features a fixed rear hinge with 4-inch lateral ramp flex to accommodate non-level trailer beds, and full-height, high-tensile deck and lip components. The deck and lip are engineered from high-tensile steel, with a 16-inch long lip that is tapered on 7' wide models, and a beveled lip to ease wheel and pallet entry. A velocity fuse hydraulic fall-safe and a robust set of safety features—paired with a NEMA4X/IP65-rated control station—support reliable operation in varied dock conditions while maintaining lifecycle integrity.
Ideal usage involves frequent, high-load transfers where trailer heights and bed conditions vary. The unit accommodates a working range of roughly 12 inches above and 12 inches below dock level, enabling consistent alignment with irregular trailers.
