The Green Creative 34336 2100 Lumens 4 ft. LED T8 Tube is a Type C external-driver version designed to replace conventional fluorescent 4 ft. lamps with an LED option that bypasses ballast hardware. This 14-watt tube is intended for indoor general lighting applications and is suitable for use in open, covered, or enclosed fixtures, providing a consistent 5000 Kelvin color temperature for neutral, daylight-like illumination.
Construction and notable features include a 4 ft. (47.75 in.) form factor with a 1.13 in. diameter and a G13 base compatible with non-shunted or shunted lampholders. The lamp operates with a 120/208/240/277 V supply and includes a parallel-output external driver compatibility that does not require a minimum lamp load, reducing compatibility concerns and maintenance costs when paired with the Green Creative external driver (model 98259). It is listed for DLC 5.1 standard, UL listed, and rated for damp locations with a 160° beam angle, delivering 146 lumens per watt for efficiency. The product ships in a case size of 25 units and carries a 5-year warranty as part of the manufacturer’s coverage.
Practical considerations include the Type C external-driver requirement, which means this tube is intended for systems that bypass traditional ballasts. Its LED construction is suitable for general lighting in environments that may require dry or damp location performance, and the 5000 K temperature provides a bright, cool-white appearance that supports tasks and workspace visibility. When planning installations, ensure compatibility with the Green Creative external driver and verify fixture and electrical compatibility with the specified input voltages to realize the expected performance and energy savings.
