The Green Creative 98334 is a 4 ft. LED T8 tube designed to be run with an external driver, bypassing the traditional ballast to reduce compatibility issues and maintenance costs. This Type C configuration uses 11 watts to deliver 1700 lumens at a 5000 Kelvin color temperature, providing a bright, daylight-like appearance suitable for a wide range of indoor general lighting applications. The tube is intended for use in open, covered, or enclosed fixtures and features a 160-degree beam angle for broad illumination distribution.
Constructed for compatibility with Green Creative's external driver ecosystem, this lamp requires an external driver and supports 0-10V dimming. It carries a DLC 5.1 Standard listing and UL recognition, reflecting compliance with common performance and safety standards for LED luminaires. The product is sold in cases of 25 and ships with the standard form factor of a 4 ft. LED tube using a G13 lampholder. The unit is rated for damp locations, making it suitable for a variety of interior environments that may experience humidity or moisture exposure.
Practical considerations include the 11 W energy draw and the 120/208/240/277 V compatibility, enabling flexible installation in different electrical systems. The lamp aligns with Green Creative part 98259 for driver compatibility and is documented with a 5-year warranty, providing a defined period of coverage for performance and reliability. When planning installations, verify fixture compatibility with Type C external-driver operation and ensure correct wiring to support 0-10V dimming and ballast bypass.
