Cordova R8622FRC DEFIANCE-FR, Rain Coat, 60-Inch

The Cordova Safety DEFIANCE-FR rain coat is a two-piece rain gear set designed to provide protective outerwear in wet conditions. The coat features a 60-inch length, bright yellow PVC/Nylon fabric, and a detachable hood with a drawstring, along with a storm fly front secured by snap buttons and a single flapped pocket for small-item storage. The fabric composition is specified as PVC/Nylon, with a 0.28 mm thickness noted in the supplier description, and the garment is labeled as flame resistant in accordance with ASTM D6413 testing. This is not marketed or designed for arc flash protection.

Constructed for visibility and basic rain protection, the DEFIANCE-FR 2-piece rain coat emphasizes simplicity and ease of use. The detachable hood enhances versatility for changing weather, while the snap-front closure and storm flap help seal out moisture. The bright yellow color aids visibility in work environments where weather protection and conspicuity are both desired. The case quantity is 20 pieces per case, and each unit is packaged individually, making it suitable for procurement in bulk or for individual use in field operations.

Potential buyers should consider the garment’s stated flame-resistant rating per ASTM D6413 when evaluating suitability for environments where ignition risk exists. While the spec sheet confirms the material as PVC/Nylon and notes a 60-inch length, it does not provide additional performance metrics beyond flame resistance. This rain coat is appropriate for non-arc-flash-related weather protection in light-duty rain scenarios and should be inspected for integrity, including seams and closures, before use. The product is sold under Cordova Safety and carries a 20-per-case quantity with individual packaging.
