PROP 65
The CORR8023FR Cordova Safety three-piece rain suit, branded under DEFIANCE-FR, is a yellow, self-extinguishing rain gear ensemble designed for wet-weather protection in industrial settings. The suit is constructed from a PVC/Nylon fabric blend listed as .28 mm thick, offering a lightweight yet durable barrier against rain and splashes. It features a detachable hood with a drawstring and a storm fly front with snap buttons for adjustable coverage, along with bib-style pants that include suspenders and a snap fly for a secure, easily adjustable fit. The flame-resistant designation referenced in safety materials aligns with ASTM D6413 testing, indicating the fabric’s flame-resistance characteristics within the scope of that standard.
These garments are intended for environments where rain protection is needed without an Arc Flash-rated specification. The suit’s bright yellow color aids visibility in outdoor or low-light conditions, and the 3-piece design provides flexibility: you can wear the outer shell with or without the bib pants depending on the work task. Verified product details note a case quantity of 10 per case and a packaging unit of Each, which is useful for stocking and distribution planning in maintenance or safety rubrics.
When considering use, verify compatibility with existing PPE programs, including any requirements for chemical exposure, abrasion, or heat sources. The material pairing of PVC and nylon is suitable for splash and rain protection but may have limited resistance to prolonged exposure to certain solvents or high-heat environments. Always reference the attached spec sheet for precise material composition and care instructions, and follow your facility’s PPE guidelines for donning, doffing, and maintenance to ensure consistent performance.
