The CGW 59748 Finish Pro Roll-On blue surface conditioning disc is a 3-inch, non-woven abrasive designed for high-performance finishing and deburring on metal surfaces. This Very Fine grade corresponds to about a 320 grit finish, making it suitable for delicate material removal, blending, and fine finishing tasks on stainless steel, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals. The Roll-On (R/O) format supports quick, tool-free changes, helping to reduce downtime during multi-step surface conditioning projects.
Constructed as a light-density non-woven disc, the Very Fine blue variant provides a refined finish while maintaining aggressive material removal when needed. The product line distinguishes its performance levels as a spectrum from heavy-duty aggressive cleaning to economy finishing, with Finish Pro positioned as a balance of efficiency and finish quality. At a 20,000 RPM operating speed, these discs are intended for compatible power tools and setups that can safely sustain that range, ensuring consistent disc performance during use.
Typical applications include finish work, light deburring, and rust or burr removal on metal components where a smooth final texture is desired without removing excess material. When selecting this disc, consider the required finish level (Very Fine corresponds to around 320 grit), the material family (stainless steel or other metals), and the need for quick-change compatibility. Packaging specifies individual discs in larger lots, which can influence project planning and tool replacement cadence. The 3-inch diameter and roll-on design provide a compact, fast-change solution for busy maintenance tasks.
