The Crown Matting JS 0035BK Jasper 3'x5' Black Entrance Matting is designed as an effective scraper mat for medium-traffic entryways, helping to remove both wet and dry soils as people enter a facility. This Jasper matence construction is suited for use in outdoor or indoor entrances and lobbies, serving as a first line of defense against tracked-in dirt. The mat’s compact 3' by 5' footprint and 7/16 inch thickness provide a low-profile option that fits standard doorway clearances while offering surface scraping action to reduce tracked debris.
The Jasper line is noted for its practical, durable performance in medium-traffic areas, balancing material strength with flexibility for easy maintenance. The black color helps it blend with a variety of interior and exterior design schemes, and the 3'×5' size is commonly used for storefronts, hall entrances, or transitional spaces where foot traffic is moderate. The mat is packaged as an individual unit, making it simple to order and replace in a staggered matting system or as a standalone entry solution.
For best results, consider pairing this mat with additional matting options to extend dirt removal across multiple entry points or to cover wider entryways. Its outdoor/indoor suitability means it can withstand routine exposure in sheltered exterior doorways while still providing the same scraping benefits as used inside. The product is listed with a clear size and color specification (3'×5', Black) to ensure correct fit and appearance in the intended doorway or lobby area.
