The Crown Matting JS 0310BK Jasper entrance mat is designed for medium-traffic areas, both indoors and outdoors, to help remove wet and dry soils from footwear as people enter a building. Its Jasper scraper construction focuses on improving floor cleanliness and reducing tracked-in dirt in lobbies and entryways where foot traffic is moderate. The mat’s color is Black, and it is sized at 3 feet by 10 feet with a thickness of 7/16 inch, offered in individual package units (Each). This size/thickness combination provides a low-profile, unobtrusive entrance solution that can fit standard matting frames and thresholds while still delivering effective soil removal.
Jasper mats are typically selected for areas that experience routine pedestrian traffic, where a durable scraper surface is beneficial for stripping both moisture and soil from shoes before it reaches interior floors. The product is suitable for both exterior and interior applications at entry points such as storefronts, offices, or facility lobbies that see medium daily footfall. When choosing this mat, consider the doorway width and any surrounding lip or threshold transitions to ensure a proper fit and smooth edge transition for foot traffic. Regular maintenance—shaking out debris, brushing, or periodic cleaning—helps maintain the mat’s performance and longevity in a busy entry environment.
Compatible with standard matting configurations, the 3' x 10' dimension provides ample coverage for moderate entryways and can be cut or joined with other mats if needed to achieve broader coverage. The 7/16 inch thickness offers a low-profile profile that minimizes trip risk while maintaining a robust scraping surface. Because no additional materials, mounting hardware, or warranty terms are specified in the provided data, follow applicable manufacturer recommendations and facility guidelines for installation, cleaning, and replacement intervals to sustain effective use over time.
