The Crown Matting Wonder-Pro 3' x 5' Black Entrance Matting is a plush olefin mat designed to help keep entryways cleaner by retaining moisture and fine dust at the threshold. This mat features a vinyl moisture barrier backing to protect flooring beneath and a concentration on wicking away liquids, contributing to reduced soil and moisture ingress into interior spaces. The Wonder-Pro line is known for color variety and a soft, absorbent surface that still resists wear in high-traffic areas, making it a practical option for lobbies, reception areas, and vestibules where both appearance and performancelike moisture capture are important.
Constructed to balance effective dirt and liquid capture with easy maintenance, this 3-foot by 5-foot mat provides a generous footprint for standard entry points while staying compatible with common matting hardware and floor surfaces that tolerate vinyl-backed mats. The product is specified as an individual mat, with a 7/16-inch thickness that supports a low-profile profile in doorways and entry paths. The described features emphasize its role in slowing the introduction of contaminants by trapping more liquid and fine particles than typical standard entrants, which can help reduce cleaning frequency and protect underlying floor finishes over time.
Ideal use cases include exterior and interior doorways, welcome areas, and high-traffic entrances where a combination of moisture control and dust containment is desired. For best results, surface cleaning and periodic back-of-mloor maintenance should be performed in accordance with standard facility-maintenance routines. This mat is offered as a single unit with the color black and dimensions 3' x 5', with a width and length that align with standard doorway entrances and matting recesses.
