The Reece Safety GL1/4 is a compact, steel lockout box designed for group lockout applications, offering both wall-mounted and portable use. Its 8-hook configuration accommodates multiple padlocks and hasps, enabling controlled lockout of several points from a single enclosure. The sturdy steel construction and powder-coated red finish provide durability and visibility in industrial settings, while a carrying handle supports easy transport between work areas or storage. A transparent window on the front allows quick, at-a-glance verification of the contained keys and tags, helping to reduce misplacement and improve workflow efficiency.
Constructed features include mounting holes for secure attachment to walls or equipment, ensuring the box can stay in place during use, and an interface that supports either fixed installation or mobility as project needs dictate. The combination of heavy-duty hooks and robust case construction is intended to withstand regular handling in maintenance and facility operations. The packaging is specified as per-unit quantity, with branding noted as Reece, and the manufacturer part number GL1/4 for precise ordering and replacement.
This product is suitable for facilities needing a shared lockout point for multiple workers or teams. When selecting this box, consider your space for wall installation versus portable use, the number of devices or keys to manage, and the visibility requirements of your lockout program. Verify compatibility with your existing padlocks, hasps, and key tags, and plan for secure storage and quick access in daily operations.
