The Reece GL1 Steel Lockout Box is designed for versatile use in facility maintenance environments, offering both wall-mounted and portable capability for managing group lockout/tagout procedures. Its robust steel construction supports reliable, long-term use, and a carrying handle provides convenient transport when the box is moved between locations. The device features mounting holes that enable secure installation on walls or equipment, expanding placement options to suit different workspaces.
A clear, transparent window allows quick visibility of stored keys and tags, while the spring-loaded retainer bar keeps keys securely on their hooks. The box is finished with a durable red powder coat, which helps resist wear from routine handling and helps with quick visual identification on busy work sites. An integrated A5 document holder accommodates your lockout/tagout paperwork, keeping vital forms accessible alongside your keys.
Best suited for teams performing lockout/tagout activities in facilities where group access is necessary, the GL1 can be used as a stationary wall-mounted unit or as a portable, carry-and-go solution. The package size is listed as Each, indicating individual sale. When integrating this box into your safety program, ensure it is mounted or positioned in a location that aligns with your lockout/tagout procedures and that personnel are trained in its use. Compatibility considerations include using it with standard lockout/tagout hooks and tags, and ensuring the A5 forms fit your documented processes.
