Reece Safety RGL12 Reece 12 lock Group Lockout box

The REER GL12 is a portable group lockout box designed to support lockout/tagout procedures for larger machines by organizing and securing multiple padlock keys. Manufactured under the Reece Safety brand, this box is built to house a set of 16 key hangers and features a clear tamper-proof sliding cover, allowing quick visual verification of its contents. When a padlock is engaged at any of the 27 perimeter lockout points, the design ensures the stored keys remain inaccessible, helping prevent accidental re-energization during a shutdown sequence.

The unit includes a keyed-access or otherwise standard locking mechanism (as per typical portable group lockout configurations) and is noted for its practical use with bespoke lockout stations to form a robust isolation system. A dedicated slot in the cover enables additional lockout keys to be dropped in without exposing the current contents once shutdown has begun, supporting safe and orderly lockout operations during plant-wide outages or maintenance windows.

Ideal for facilities that require organized, centralized control over multiple lockout keys during machine isolation, the REERGL12 is documented as a compact, portable solution with a package size of “Each,” and branding identified as Reece. This product is positioned for facility maintenance contexts where portable group lockout capability is advantageous, particularly in environments that deploy multiple workers and a need to manage lockout keys efficiently during shutdowns.
