The Savety Yellow SYPGate-Rolling-8 is a rolling dock gate designed to provide safe, controlled access to the loading dock area without requiring lifting or creating pinch hazards. With an 8-foot (96" wide) span and a 42" height, this gate helps establish a physical boundary where equipment and personnel interact with dock spaces, supporting safer workflow at busy loading zones.
Constructed from durable 2" outside-diameter steel and finished in powder-coated safety yellow, the gate combines robust structure with high visibility. The rolling design helps reduce effort and risk during operation, and the product offers optional mounting hardware for flexible installation. Locking caster stops help minimize drift once positioned, contributing to stable access points during routine dock activity. The design aligns with OSHA-related safety practices by addressing common access hazards in dock environments.
Practical considerations include the availability of multiple lengths (8', 10', and 12') to fit varying dock configurations, and the note that lead times and price may fluctuate due to steel costs. Installation is described as straightforward, with anchor-base mounting possible in minutes after base preparation. Users should confirm exact dimensions for their site and plan for compatible hardware if optional mounting is selected, ensuring the gate operates smoothly within their dock layout.
