The Savety Yellow SYPGate-Rolling-10 is a rolling dock gate designed to provide controlled access at loading docks while minimizing common injury hazards associated with lift and pinch points. Its rolling design allows movement without lifting, helping to reduce the risk of shoulder strain and pinched fingers during operation, which is particularly important in fast-paced dock environments where personnel frequently enter and exit restricted zones.
Constructed with a 2-inch outside diameter steel framework and finished in powder-coated safety yellow, the gate offers durability in industrial settings and high visibility for workplace safety. The unit is available in multiple lengths, including 8', 10', and 12' options, enabling fit to a range of dock openings. Mounting hardware is optional, giving installers the choice to anchor the base in minutes and complete the setup without extensive fabrication. A locking caster feature helps prevent unintended movement, contributing to stable positioning during use.
This product is specified to meet OSHA-related requirements as part of its safety intent, and the 10' version (the SYPGate-Rolling-10) corresponds to a width of 120 inches and a height of 42 inches, with packaging described as an individual unit. Practical considerations include lead times noted by the manufacturer (2–3 weeks) and potential price fluctuations due to steel costs, so customers may need to factor in longer procurement timelines and updated quotes for shipping. When selecting this gate, verify fit for the dock opening, confirm whether base anchoring is required for your installation, and plan for appropriate maintenance to ensure the rolling mechanism remains operational over time.
