The Vestil BBL-4 Bulk Bag Lifter is designed to facilitate safe handling of bulk bags in industrial and manufacturing environments. Built from steel with a durable powder-coated blue finish, this lifter provides strength and corrosion resistance while supporting use with either an overhead hoist via a center-mounted hook or a forklift through attached fork pockets. The unit includes a retaining strap and four lift points to secure the bag loops, enabling controlled, balanced lifting and transportation. The central hook configuration helps stabilize loads during vertical lift, which can improve maneuverability when moving bagged materials through tight spaces or between workstations.
Key construction features include a 3/4 inch bail thickness and a 2 inch hook opening for bag straps, with a center bottom hook opening of 1-1/2 inches. The fork pockets are sized to accommodate common fork dimensions, with a pocket length of 17-11/16 inches, width of 6-3/4 inches, and height of 3-1/4 inches, spaced with a pocket center at 14-1/2 inches. The overall usable width and length of 35-3/4 inches provide ample reach for various bag configurations, while a restraint strap of 48-1/2 inches helps maintain control during movement. This product is intended for distribution and material handling facilities where bulk bags need reliable, multi-point attachment and transfer.
Compatible use scenarios include overhead lifting with a hoist via the center hook, or forklift-assisted handling using the integrated pockets. Operators should secure the bag loops to the four strap points before lifting and follow standard safe lifting practices to minimize bag movement and tipping. Each unit is packaged as an individual item for straightforward storage and deployment.
