The Vestil EH-710-50 hydraulic dock leveler provides efficient, push-button operation for high-usage dock applications. It is designed to bridge the gap between a loading dock and trailers, allowing the deck to be raised with a simple press of the raise button. As the deck reaches its elevated position, the lip automatically extends to facilitate smooth loading and unloading, then lowers back onto the trailer when the operator releases the control. A red emergency stop on the control box adds a direct safety shutdown option during operation.
Constructed with safety in mind, the leveler includes telescopic steel toe guards on both sides, flush with the platform edge, to help protect workers and equipment during handling. The system is configured for a service range of +/- 12 inches, enabling adjustments to accommodate various dock and trailer heights within that range. Two laminated bumpers further cushion impacts during docking cycles. The unit is rated for a uniform capacity of 50,000 pounds, making it suitable for demanding loading environments where consistent, reliable performance is crucial.
This model is specified for 460V 3-phase operation, with compatible availability for higher capacities up to 80,000 pounds upon factory confirmation. The EH-710-50 is sized for a wide working footprint (86" W x 110" L deck with a 24" depth profile) and is intended for installation into a dock pit. Practical considerations include ensuring electrical power availability and proper pit preparation to align with the trailer bed and dock face. For planning and integration, verify site conditions and confirm factory-ready options if operating beyond the stated 50,000-lb capacity.
