The Vestil EH-68-50 Hydraulic Dock Leveler is designed for high-usage loading docks, delivering reliable deck elevation with an intuitive push-button operation. The hydraulic system raises the deck smoothly, and as it reaches the raised position, the lip automatically extends to bridge gaps for easier loading and unloading. Once the operator releases the raise control, the deck settles onto the trailer and remains in place until the truck pulls away, at which point a limit switch returns the unit to its level cross-traffic position. A red emergency stop on the control box provides an immediate safety shutdown if needed.
Construction features include twin telescoping steel toe guards flush with the platform edge, enhancing side protection during operation. The design also incorporates laminated bumpers to help absorb impact at the dock edge and maintain alignment with trailers. The EH-68-50 is rated with a uniform 50,000 lb capacity, suitable for frequent, heavy-duty material handling activities. The system is compatible with a 460V 3-phase electrical supply, aligning with industrial dock infrastructure common in high-volume facilities. The unit’s service range above the dock is 12 inches, enabling flexibility for varying trailer heights and dock configurations.
Typical applications include warehouses and distribution centers with continuous or high-frequency loading and unloading needs. When selecting this dock leveler, confirm your dock pit dimensions and electrical supply compatibility, and plan for regular maintenance of the hydraulic components and control box to ensure consistent operation. This particular model is identified by SKU VESEH-68-50 and is offered in a rugged brown/yellow finish appropriate for industrial environments.
