Vestil EH-710-30 Electric Hydraulic Dock Leveler provides a reliable, high-use docking solution for loading docks needing consistent, automated deck operations. This unit features a hydraulic raise/lower cycle triggered by a simple push-button control, with the lip extending automatically as the deck reaches the raised position to facilitate smooth entry and exit of pallets and trailers. The control box includes an emergency stop for immediate shutdown, enhancing on-site safety during loading and unloading operations. The design includes telescoping steel toe guards on both sides flush with the platform edge, contributing to dock-side protection for personnel and equipment throughout use. When a trailer departs, the deck automatically returns to the full-down, level position and resets via a limit switch, helping maintain cross-traffic alignment when the dock is not in use. This model operates as a 460V 3-phase unit and is specified with a 30,000 lb uniform capacity, making it suitable for mid-to heavy-duty material handling tasks where pallets, skids, or loaded containers require stable transfer between dock and trailer.
Practical considerations include the mechanism’s service range of ±12 inches, which accommodates typical dock variances and trailer bed heights, and the use of laminated bumpers to absorb impact and protect both the leveler and the surrounding structure. With a wide footprint of 86 inches in width, 110 inches in length, and a 24-inch-deep deck, this leveler is designed to bridge standard dock openings while maintaining robust performance in frequent usage environments. For installation and performance specifics, refer to factory guidance on uniform capacities up to 80,000 pounds and compatibility notes for 460V 3-phase power.
