Vestil EH-65-50 is a heavy-duty electric hydraulic dock leveler designed to streamline loading and unloading at busy dock locations. This model features a hydraulic deck raise with an automatic lip extension, enabling quick engagement with pallets and trailers. The integrated control box includes an emergency stop for immediate shutdown if needed, and the unit is equipped with telescoping steel toe guards on both sides to enhance operator safety during transitions between dock and trailer. The system returns to a safe, level position when loading operations are complete, helping to maintain consistent cross-traffic alignment at the dock edge.
The leveler is built to support high-usage environments with a uniform capacity of 50,000 pounds, making it suitable for a range of material handling needs. The design prioritizes simple operation: a push-button raise initiates hydraulic power to lift the deck, and once elevated, the lip automatically extends to bridge the gap to the trailer floor. After unloading or loading, the deck lowers and, upon trailer departure, trips a limit switch to return to the level cross-traffic position. The unit is specified with a 74" width, 50" length, and 24" depth footprint, and it accepts a service range of ±12" for alignment with varying dock and trailer configurations.
When selecting or using this leveler, verify compatibility with your dock pit dimensions and vehicle types. The 460V 3-phase configuration is standard for this family of products, with availability for higher capacities up to 80,000 pounds from the factory. For installation and exact pit and electrical requirements, refer to Vestil specifications and factory guidance to ensure proper fit and safe operation.
