The Better Brush 101736 is a floor sweeper designed for medium-duty cleaning tasks. This brush features a horsehair blend on the outer rows with Tampico bristles in the center rows, combining different bristle textures to tackle fine particles while efficiently moving sand and heavier soils. The 36" unit is built with a solid wood block measuring 2-7/8" wide by 7/8" thick and includes two threaded handle holes, allowing for straightforward attachment to standard handles (handles sold separately). The bristle trim length is 3", providing a balanced sweeping action suitable for a range of floor surfaces.
The combination of horsehair and Tampico bristles is chosen to deliver versatile performance: horsehair helps pick up light debris and dust, while Tampico center rows contribute added stiffness to handle coarser soils. This configuration supports effective maintenance on floors that require a gentle touch for delicate finishes along with the capacity to move more substantial soils when needed. The brush is sized and packaged as a single unit, with case quantities available for bulk purchasing.
Practical use considerations include selecting the BTB101736 for medium sweeping tasks where a blend of bristle types can improve debris capture without excessive abrasion. When installing, ensure the handle is threaded through the two holes in the wood block for secure mounting. Consider purchasing handles separately to match your existing cleaning tool lineup and to optimize ergonomics for routine sweeping tasks.
