The Better Brush 101724 is a floor sweeper designed for medium-duty cleaning tasks, featuring a horsehair blend on the outer rows with Tampico center rows to optimize debris pickup. This combination leverages the fine particle performance of horsehair and the heavier soil handling of Tampico in a single 24-inch block, helping capture dust and fine particles while also moving sand and heavier soils more effectively across floor surfaces.
Constructed with a 2-7/8 inch by 7/8 inch wood block, the brush provides a sturdy mounting platform with two threaded handle holes for convenient attachment. A bristle trim length of 3 inches helps maintain consistent sweeping action and performance over time. The design specifies a 24-inch overall sweep width, and recommends using compatible handles (sold separately) to complete a cleaning setup. Each brush is packaged as an individual unit, with case quantities available to support routine maintenance or inventory stocking.
This BTB101724 model is appropriate for general janitorial sweeping tasks where a blend of materials is desired to balance fine dust collection with heavier soil movement. When selecting this brush, consider the surface type and typical debris you encounter, as the mix of horsehair and Tampico is intended to optimize multi-particle pickup. Ensure proper handle compatibility and periodic inspection of bristle condition to maintain effective performance.
