The Gerson 020002W Tack Cloth is a white, 18" x 36" lint-free cloth designed for thorough surface prep before painting or finishing. Made from 100% bleached cotton gauze with a 20 x 16 mesh, this tack cloth captures and holds dust, dirt, and fine particulates without leaving a sticky residue on the work surface. The medium tack formulation provides effective dust removal while remaining conformable to curved or irregular surfaces, making it suitable for automotive refinishing, woodworking, and other industrial prep tasks. An anti-static additive helps prevent reattachment of removed particulates, supporting a cleaner, more efficient prep process. The cloth is wax- and silicone-free, reducing the risk of contaminating finishes or affecting adhesion.
Designed for practical, controlled use, these tack cloths are produced to deliver consistent results across a range of prep scenarios. The 20 x 16 mesh and cotton gauze substrate balance flexibility with effective dust pick-up, helping to prepare surfaces prior to primer, paint, or coatings.
For packaging, the product is supplied in cases with 12 cloths per box and 144 per case, aligning with typical facility maintenance workflows where multiple prep tasks are performed across projects. The 18" x 36" size provides ample coverage while remaining easy to handle by hand. Maintained cleanliness and proper storage of tack cloths help preserve their performance between uses.
