The MCR Safety 39120 Bib with Snaps to fit Cape Sleeves is a lightweight, limited-flammability bib designed to accompany green, 9-ounce cotton apparel for protection against light molten splash and sparks. This bib is crafted from USA-treated L/F cotton fabric in a distinct green color, and it features anodized button snap closures to securely fasten the bib to compatible cape sleeves, helping to maintain coverage during movement and work tasks. The design prioritizes launderability, supporting repeated cleaning cycles while preserving its limited-flammability properties.
Key features include the use of limited-flammability cotton, a practical length of 20 inches, and snap closures that are resistant to corrosion and wear. Launderability is a highlighted characteristic: the fabric maintains its limited-flammability rating through up to 50 home washings or 25 commercial washings at temperatures up to 165 degrees Fahrenheit, making this option a cost-effective choice for settings that require durable, reusable protective garments. These attributes make the bib suitable for use in environments where light molten splash and sparks are a consideration, while keeping maintenance and replacement costs reasonable.
Practical considerations for selection include compatibility with cape sleeve systems that utilize snap closures and the need to follow laundering guidelines to preserve the limited-flammability performance. Packaging is listed as Each, with a case quantity of 72, supporting bulk ordering for maintenance inventories in small to mid-sized facilities. Overall, the MCR Safety 39120 bib offers a straightforward, economical layer of protection that complements green cotton PPE ensembles while emphasizing durability through repeated washing and simple snap fastening.
