The Pyramex Safety HPSHADEC60 Collapsible Neck Shade is a lightweight, high-visibility accessory designed to shield the face and neck from sun exposure on outdoor job sites. It is worn on the exterior of cap-style or full-brim hard hats, providing shade without the need for additional head-covering. The shade is constructed from a soft, lightweight material and uses hi-vis coloring to improve visibility in work environments where operators and pedestrians may be nearby.
Key design features include its collapsible form for easy storage when not in use and a straightforward attachment method that allows it to be affixed to compatible hard hats without altering the hat itself. The product is shown with Ridgeline hard hats in marketing materials and is sold as a separate accessory, enabling workers to add shade only when needed. Documentation indicates the shade is intended for settings lacking other forms of shade, helping workers protect the face and neck from sun exposure during prolonged outdoor tasks.
Practical considerations include its packaging as an individual item, with a case quantity of 100 units available for bulk purchasing. The provided specifications list color as black and designate the product type as a neck shade, which can help buyers verify compatibility with their existing PPE setups. A spec sheet is available for download to review any detailed construction notes prior to purchase. This accessory does not carry CSA or CE certifications in the provided data, and no additional materials or performance claims are specified beyond the stated features.
