The Pyramex CNS140 Cooling Neck Shade is a lightweight, grab-and-go solution designed to extend comfort in sunny, hot conditions by providing evaporative cooling for the neck area while helping shield the skin from direct sun exposure. The neck shade is crafted from soft quilted hi-visibility material to enhance visibility when worn with a hard hat, supporting safer worksite presence. Activation is simple: soak the shade in cool water for 2–5 minutes to initiate cooling, then reuse as needed by reactivating the moisture.
Designed to fit on the suspension of most hard hats with hook-and-loop closures, this one-size-fits-all accessory is intended for quick donning and removal without requiring tools or complex adjustments. It is sold as an individual item, with a case quantity appropriate for bulk stocking, making it suitable for team use or individual checkout. Note that the product is not listed with ANSI, CSA, or CE certifications in the provided data, and its use is contingent on compatible headgear and workplace policies.
Typical use scenarios include outdoor site tasks, warehouse labor, and any work environment where sun exposure and heat accumulation on the neck are concerns. The reusable design means workers can reactivate cooling as needed by re-wetting, helping manage comfort during long shifts. Packaging is described as polybagged individual units, with separate case quantities (200 per case) for inventory planning. For best results, replace when the fabric shows wear or reduced cooling effectiveness, and always verify compatibility with your hard hat suspension before use.
