The PIP 396-700FR FR Treated Hi-Vis Hard Hat Neck Shade is designed to extend sun protection for workers wearing cap-style or full brim hard hats. The neck shade provides drape at the back to shade the neck while the back elastic ensures a secure, adjustable fit. Its high-visibility yellow fabric, complemented by silver reflective tape, helps improve visibility in bright conditions, contributing to situational awareness and reducing sun-related heat stress during outdoor tasks.
Constructed to attach over compatible cap-style and full brim hard hats, this neck shade integrates with standard hard hat silhouettes without requiring specialized headgear. The included features—elastic closure for a snug fit and sun-shielding fabric—support use in outdoor environments where prolonged sun exposure is expected. For best use, verify that the shade aligns with your existing headgear and adjusts to maintain coverage without obstructing peripheral vision or airflow.
