The PIP 396-700FR FR Treated Hi-Vis Hard Hat Neck Shade in Hi-Vis Orange is designed to provide sun protection for workers who wear cap-style or full-brim hard hats. This neck shade drapes at the back to shield the neck while an elastic at the back helps ensure a secure, adjustable fit. The high-visibility fabric paired with silver reflective tape enhances visibility in daylight conditions, contributing to situational awareness during outdoor tasks and helping to mitigate heat stress by reducing direct sun exposure on the neck and eyes.
Constructed as a遮 shading accessory rather than a standalone headgear, this neck shade complements compatible hard hats to extend coverage without adding bulky headwear. It is described as FR treated, indicating flame-resistance treatment, but no specific standards or certifications are listed in the provided data. When selecting this accessory, verify compatibility with your existing cap-style or full-brim hard hats and ensure the elastic closure provides a secure fit for your head size and shape.
Practical considerations include its packaging as an individual item (Package Size: Each) with a case quantity of 144 units, which may influence procurement planning for teams or fleets. The included product features emphasize shade, sun protection, and heat-stress mitigation—useful for outdoor sites, welding, or other sun-exposed environments where legibility and visibility are important.
