The PIP 396-800 EZ-Cool Hi-Vis Hard Hat Visor and Neck Shade in Hi-Vis Yellow is a protective accessory designed to extend sun protection for workers who wear standard safety helmets. It adds an extended front visor to shield the eyes from glare and a back neck shade to reduce sun exposure, contributing to reduced heat stress in bright outdoor or well-lit indoor environments. The assembly uses an elastic closure to fit a variety of hard hat styles, and its high-visibility fabric combined with reflective tape helps improve visibility in low-light or high-traffic settings where pedestrians and machinery are present.
Constructed to fit most hard hats, this neck shade and visor combo is intended as an add-on rather than a standalone head protection solution. The EZ-Cool branding suggests a focus on cooling and comfort, though the materials and protective performance are not specified in the provided data. The product is marketed as a practical way to shield both eyes and neck from sun exposure, which can help workers maintain comfort and focus during prolonged outdoor tasks.
Useful use cases include outdoor construction, road maintenance, landscaping, and any job where sun exposure is a factor and there is a need to maintain visibility on site. The package size is listed as Each, with a case quantity of 144, indicating how the accessories may be distributed for stocking or resale. For compatibility, confirm that the visor shade attachment can be secured to your existing hard hat model, and review the included spec sheet for additional installation details.
