The West Chester Protective Gear 3713 One Size PosiUB White Shoe Cover is a disposable overshoe designed to protect footwear and maintain a clean work environment. With a roomy construction and a latex-free elastic band at the top, this white shoe cover is built to accommodate a range of shoe sizes while minimizing constriction at the ankle. It passes NFPA 99 antistatic testing and has low lint characteristics, which helps reduce particulate contamination in sensitive settings. It also meets ASTM standards for resistance to bloodborne and viral penetration, providing an additional layer of protection in environments where exposure risk is a concern.
These features support use in medical, laboratory, and cleanroom contexts where contamination control and surface protection are priorities. The combination of antistatic performance, low linting, and a latex-free top band makes the product suitable for workers who may have latex sensitivities and for facilities aiming to minimize particulate dispersion during entry and exit. The packaging specifies a case quantity, which is typical for supply closets and stockrooms that service multiple employees or shifts, helping ensure a steady supply for ongoing use. Practically, users should ensure the cover fully unfolds to avoid gaps at the toe and heel and replace it when torn or soiled to maintain protective effectiveness.
