The West Chester Protective Gear 3712 is a one-size, white Posi-Wear UB sleeve designed for use in settings where cleanable, disposable or reusable protective cover is needed for the arm. This product functions as a lightweight arm protection layer, suitable for tasks requiring a minimal barrier between skin and work surfaces or fluids.
Constructed to meet specific compliance indicators, the sleeve uses component materials that comply with Federal Regulations for Food Contact (21 CFR 170-199) and is latex-free to reduce latex-related sensitivities. It passes recognized standards for protection against blood and viral penetration (ASTM 1670-1671) and meets NFPA 99 antistatic and low-lint requirements, contributing to both electrical safety considerations and reduced particulates in sensitive environments.
Typical use scenarios include general protective covering for forearms during light-duty tasks where a simple barrier is adequate, such as handling materials or performing procedures that require modest contamination control. As a one-size item with elastic openings, it is designed to fit a broad range of arm sizes, offering practical fit without custom sizing. When considering packaging and compatibility, note that the product is categorized under package size as a case, which may impact stocking and disposal planning in job-site or facility settings.
