The DeWalt DCHJ067B 20V/12V MAX Heated Hoodie is a versatile, battery-powered outer layer designed to provide targeted warmth in cold-weather work environments. This lightweight hoodie features three core heating zones—left chest, right chest, and back—so heat can be directed where you need it most. It uses a durable wind-resistant polyester/cotton blend shell with a warm thermal waffle-knit lining at the torso and hood, while ribbed cuffs and a fitted waist help seal in heat and reduce drafts. The design includes multiple pockets for storage, including two large fleece-lined front pockets plus a back battery pocket and two inner accessory pockets, plus a full-front zipper for easy on/off and layering.
As a Bare item, the hoodie includes the DCB092 adapter and is intended to be used with DEWALT 20V batteries. The heating system offers three temperature settings to balance warmth and battery life, enabling operators to customize heat output to the task at hand. The combination of a lightweight shell and thermal lining makes this hoodie suitable for layering under additional outerwear in very cold conditions or wearing on its own in milder environments while performing outdoor or job-site tasks.
Practical considerations for buyers include managing battery life by selecting the appropriate heat setting and ensuring you have the DEWALT 20V battery platform on hand to power the garment. The hoodie’s rugged construction and pocket layout support on-site tasks that require mobility and quick access to tools or accessories, while the zipper closure simplifies donning and doffing between shifts or breaks. This product aligns with PPE-category equipment, offering a practical warmth solution for professional environments where staying warm helps maintain focus and productivity.
