The DeWalt DCHJ076ABD1 Heated Jacket is a rugged, battery-powered outerlayer designed for cold-weather work environments. This kitted option from DEWALT includes a 20V Max battery, fast charger, and adapter, enabling heat in multiple zones for extended comfort while you work. The jacket’s heating system uses five zones—upper arms, left chest, right chest, and upper back—allowing you to target core areas and adjust heat levels to stay productive in changing conditions. The outer shell uses wind- and water-resistant heavy-duty duck fabric, with a warm fleece lining and a smooth-sleeve finish to ease layering and on/off motions. A flannel-lined hood with an integrated drawstring adds extra protection from the elements, while stretch ribbed collar, storm cuffs, and articulated shoulders provide mobility for active tasks.
Designed for practical reliability, this jacket features seven pockets, including a dedicated battery pocket for secure power placement. The kit version ensures you can deploy heat quickly without sourcing components separately, and the USB power adapter permits charging of portable accessories on-site. Users can select high, medium, or low heat settings to balance warmth with battery life, with up to nine hours of operation on the low setting according to the supplied data. The materials and construction are focused on durability in demanding environments, where pockets and accessible controls help keep essential tools within reach.
Typical use cases include outdoor or unheated indoor work, maintenance tasks, and field service where staying warm improves comfort and productivity. When considering sizing and compatibility, note that the package size is listed as individual items and the kit includes the battery, charger, and adapter for immediate use. For maintenance, follow standard care for duck fabric outer shells and fleece linings, and ensure the battery and charger are stored and transported per the included kit guidelines.
