The Occunomix 6525-HV MiraCool HyperKewl Cooling Neck Shade is a hi-vis cooling solution designed to help workers stay cooler while protecting the neck from sun exposure. The exterior is a polyester quilted shell with a MiraCool HyperKewl interior and a water-repellent nylon liner, finished with black poly-cotton trim. Elastic straps with hook-and-loop attachments allow for easy, adjustable wear and secure the neck shade in place. A notable feature is the hook-and-loop tabs that attach to a hard hat suspension, enabling convenient integration into existing PPE setups. When soaked, this neck shade provides up to about 10 hours of cooling relief, offering lightweight and durable wearing comfort for extended shifts in warm conditions.
The design emphasizes practical cooling and sun protection without compromising headgear compatibility. The Hi-Vis Yellow color enhances visibility, which is an important consideration in many work environments where high visibility is required. The product is packaged as a single unit, ensuring straightforward, individual usage or replacement as part of a larger PPE ensemble. The combination of a breathable outer shell, moisture-activated cooling core, and secure attachment points makes this neck shade suitable for outdoor tasks and jobs with prolonged sun exposure, such as maintenance, construction, or utility work, where cooling and sun protection are beneficial.
Keep in mind that performance claims, such as cooling duration, are dependent on soaking conditions and environmental factors. The accessory is designed for use alongside compatible head protection via its hook-and-loop attachment system, and its color and visibility are geared toward safety-conscious work environments.
