The Occunomix 6519-HV Miracool HyperKewl Cooling Neckband (Hi-Vis Yellow) is a wearable cooling solution designed to help manage heat during extended periods of outdoor or high-heat work. The neckband features a polyester Cool Mesh exterior with a MiraCool HyperKewl interior, intended to draw heat away from the neck area and provide cooling when soaked. The design uses a simple tie closure for adjustable fit and is machine washable for reuse, supporting practical maintenance in workwear programs.
Construction emphasizes lightweight comfort and ease of use: the neckband is worn around the neck, with cooling achieved by soaking the interior material. The product is offered in a Hi-Vis Yellow color for visibility in active work environments, with packaging noted as 'Each' indicating individual unit sizing. The included spec sheet available via the Downloads section provides additional technical details consistent with the HyperKewl cooling concept, though specific performance metrics beyond the claimed 10 hours of cooling per soak are not restated here. Understanding the soak-to-cooling duration helps buyers plan for shift changes and rest periods in hot conditions, while the machine-washable design supports recurring use in PPE programs.
Designed for individuals requiring visible PPE in industrial settings, this neckband complements other cooling and safety gear. It is compatible with standard work uniforms that accommodate neckwear and can be used in applications where prolonged heat exposure or high ambient temperatures necessitate supplemental cooling during breaks or downtime. When selecting this item, consider color visibility requirements and the need for regular rehydration or re-soaking to maintain cooling performance. The product is sold as a single unit, matching the stated package size, and can be integrated into routines that include quick-cleaning cycles to maintain hygiene and readiness for daily use.
