The OEL AFW40LF-KJB-W 40 CAL Jacket and Bib Overall Kit is a Category 4 arc flash protection ensemble designed to meet NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, ASTM F1506 & F2178, and OSHA 1910.269 requirements. The kit combines a 40 CAL jacket and 40 CAL bib-overall with a Class E-rated hard hat and a HT-clear faceshield, all assembled with a premium lift-front hood for added coverage. The garments are described as being made from an 88/12 premium Indura cotton blend, reflecting a balance of durability and comfort while delivering the fabric performance expected for arc-flash scenarios. Each piece is hand sewn in the USA, aligning with the manufacturer’s emphasis on domestic production and quality control. The included lift-front hood and headgear storage bag help streamline donning and kit organization in demanding work environments.

When considering use, this kit is positioned for workers who require reliable arc-flash PPE as part of a compliant protection program. The listed certifications and standards-backed construction indicate readiness for environments where electrical safety is a priority and NFPA 70E compliance is important. Users should follow the provided washing instructions (bleach or hydrogen peroxide) to maintain fabric integrity over time, and consult the spec sheet for any additional fitting or maintenance guidance. The kit is packaged as a complete set, labeled as "Each" in the product data, and is designed for scenarios where head, face, and body protection need to be worn together for arc-flash risk mitigation.
