Cardinal Safety C-111KCY Cardinal Switch Mini Safety Utility Knife, Yellow

The Cardinal Safety C-111KCY Mini Safety Utility Knife is a compact, disposable cutting tool designed for light-duty material handling tasks. Sized for palm-fit comfort and easy lanyard use, this knife centers on safety with a recessed blade that reduces the risk of cut injuries and damage to goods while cutting boxes, film, tape, and a variety of other packaging materials. It shares the same replaceable cartridge concept as Cardinal’s larger switch knife, enabling straightforward blade changes and maintenance within a safe, handheld form factor.

Constructed with plastic housing and a carbon steel blade, the knife emphasizes dependable performance in everyday facility maintenance workflows. The device is described as small, durable, and simple to operate, benefiting users who need a quick, disposable cutting solution for one-handed use or in constrained spaces. The design supports high-visibility operation with a yellow handle, aiding tool tracking in busy workcells and warehouses.

For procurement and packaging considerations, this model ships with a standard blade cartridge configuration (one blade in use with interchangeable cartridges, as noted in the manufacturer guidance). The listed case quantity is 250 units, with each unit packaged individually. This sizing and packaging arrangement can help facilities plan bulk buys for maintenance closets, tool cribs, or shared workstations while ensuring consistent replacement blades are readily available.
