Cardinal Safety C-111KCR Cardinal Switch Mini Safety Utility Knife, Red

The Cardinal Safety C-111KCR Switch Mini Utility Knife is a compact, palm-sized tool designed for precise, controlled cutting in facility maintenance tasks. Its recessed blade minimizes the risk of hand injuries and damage to cartons, film, tape, and other materials encountered in shipping, receiving, and on-the-job handling. The knife uses a replaceable cartridge system, allowing quick blade changes without exposing a dull edge, which helps maintain cut quality and reduces downtime. The unit is disposable, reflecting a design approach that prioritizes safety and simplicity for high-use environments.

Constructed with a plastic handle and a carbon steel blade, the Switch Mini emphasizes lightweight durability in a hand-friendly form factor. The blade is a utility type assembled to deliver reliable cuts for common applications while the recessed configuration contributes to safer operation in cluttered work areas. The tool’s red color provides high visibility, aiding quick identification among tools and PPE assets. The product’s compact size makes it well-suited for lanyard attachment or pocket carry, supporting tasks that require mobility and ease of access.

This model is compatible with the same standard switch cartridge used by the Cardinal Switch family, enabling blade interchangeability without purchasing a separate chassis. Packaged in case quantities of 250 with a per-unit sizing of “Each,” it is appropriate for use in maintenance shops, packaging lines, and other settings where a disposable, easy-to-sanitize cutting solution is preferred. For best performance, follow established replacement intervals and use the proper cartridge to maintain a consistent cutting edge.
