The CGW 59235 brown coarse non-woven X-Flex surface conditioning belt is designed for hand-held tools used in facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring. This belt produces a linear grain scratch pattern intended to blend stainless welds and overall edges without undercutting or gouging the workpiece. The X-Flex material provides added flexibility, which supports comfortable guiding and consistent contact on curved or irregular surfaces during operation.
Constructed as a non-woven abrasive belt in a coarse grade, this belt corresponds to a 120 grit finish, making it suitable for initial material removal and blending applications where more aggressive abrasion is required. The product is specified as 3/4" wide by 18" long, enabling use with compatible small-format handheld machines. It is packaged as individual belts, with a box quantity of 50, facilitating bulk stocking for shop-wide use.
When selecting this belt, consider the need for effective blending of welds and the desire to avoid gouging delicate features. The coarse profile provides material removal while maintaining a controlled scratch pattern. Regular inspection and replacement of worn belts will help maintain consistent finishes and tool performance.
