The CGW 59226 brown coarse non-woven X-Flex surface conditioning belt is designed for handheld tool use in facility maintenance tasks. This 1/2" wide by 12" long belt delivers a linear grain scratch pattern suitable for blending stainless welds, cleaning, finishing, blending, and deburring workpieces without undercutting or gouging. The X-Flex construction provides the flexibility needed for versatile handling during detailed surface conditioning projects.
Constructed with a coarse grade (brown) equivalent to a 120 grit finish, these non-woven belts are intended to offer controlled material removal and a consistent finish. The belt material is optimized for hand-held tools, enabling precise control in tight spaces or challenging geometries. When selecting a belt, consider the need for blending and finishing steps that respect the underlying metallurgy while achieving the desired surface texture.
Each belt is packaged as an individual item, with a box quantity of 50 belts per case (or per order line as applicable). The 1/2" width and 12" length specify its alignment with compatible handheld conditioning tools. Maintenance considerations include inspecting the belt for wear after use, replacing when the abrasive texture is diminished, and ensuring proper tension and alignment on the tool to maintain an even finish.
