The CGW 36286 6" W x 9" L Tan Heavy Duty Non-Woven Premium Hand Pads are designed for heavy surface preparation tasks where durable, non-woven abrasives are required. The tan color denotes a coarse finishing grade that balances rust removal with coarse finishing, making these hand pads suitable for aggressive surface prep on metal and other hard substrates. Each pad is non-woven and heavy duty, providing robust material to withstand rigorous use while maintaining flexibility for controlled work in tight areas.
Constructed as premium non-woven hand pads, these tan pads are part of a color-coded system that includes maroon for rust removal, grey for finer finishing, green for heavy cleaning, white for light cleaning, and black for aggressive deburring and finishing. This allows users to select a pad grade appropriate to the task without guessing, helping to reduce process changes and improve consistency on the shop floor.
The product is sized at 6 inches by 9 inches and packaged as individual pads, with a box quantity of 20 per order. This packaging supports routine maintenance cycles and bulk purchasing for facilities that perform frequent surface prep and finishing tasks. While the data does not specify additional mounting or backing options, the non-woven construction is designed for hand use and can be used with or without hand implements depending on operator preference and task requirements.
