The Crown Matting NR 0034BR Needle-Rib entrance mat provides an economical solution for light-traffic entryways, combining a ribbed pattern with a vinyl backing to help scrape dirt and retain moisture. This two-tone brown mat is designed to pull contaminants from footwear while minimizing the amount of moisture that enters the building, supporting floor protection and cleaner interiors in active entry areas.
The unilateral ribbed construction differentiates Needle-Rib from flatter matting by concentrating abrasion and moisture management along the surface that contacts footwear. The 3' x 4' size and 5/16 inch thickness offer a compact profile suitable for entry doors and vestibules, with a straightforward, ready-to-use package size listed as Each. This configuration favors quick deployment in light-traffic zones where cost-effective, low-friction matting is appropriate.
For installation and upkeep, consider that the vinyl backing provides a stable footprint on most subfloors, helping to reduce shifting and wear under routine foot traffic. While specific maintenance details aren’t provided, routine cleaning per facility protocols will help preserve the ribbed surface’s dirt-scraping efficiency and moisture retention characteristics, contributing to extended floor life and cleaner entryways over time.
