The Crown Matting GS 0034CR Rely-On Olefin Castellan Red Entrance Matting is an economical wiper mat designed to help control moisture and fine dust at building entryways. With a Castellan Red color and a 3' x 4' footprint, this mat is sized for small to medium entry spaces and features a 3/8 inch overall thickness. The mat is constructed to hold up to about 1 gallon of water per square yard, supporting its role in reducing tracked-in moisture and grit, which can help protect interior flooring and reduce cleaning frequency in high-traffic areas.
The Rely-On Olefin construction offers a cost-conscious option that balances performance with affordability. The vinyl backing acts as a moisture barrier to help mitigate wicking into floor surfaces, making it suitable for spaces where occasional wet conditions occur at the doorway. This product is positioned for facility maintenance use in light to moderate-traffic entrances where a simple, effective solution is desired without the need for heavy-duty matting.
When choosing sizing, this 3' x 4' mat covers a practical doorway area and can be paired with additional mats or mats of contrasting colors to create a layered entry solution if needed. As a standalone mat, ensure proper placement over a clean, dry floor to maximize adhesion and effectiveness. Regular upkeep involves basic cleaning consistent with typical matting maintenance to preserve moisture-holding capacity and appearance.
