Savety Yellow PP-24V-SMW 24" Side Mounted Post Protector

The Savety Yellow PP-24V-SMW is a side-mounted post protector designed to shield warehouse rack beams and uprights from incidental impacts that can lead to frame damage and costly repairs. This 24-inch protector is crafted from 7-gauge steel and features a V-face profile that helps deflect materials as they are loaded or removed from the rack, reducing the likelihood of denting or gouging at multiple beam levels. The unit is powder-coated in safety yellow for high visibility and durability in industrial environments.

Installation is straightforward: the protector mounts directly to a 3-inch upright by bolting in through the side of the rack. The design allows you to protect rack at every beam level, enhancing overall rack longevity without requiring extensive modification to existing configurations. Each protector includes mounting hardware, simplifying installation and ensuring a secure fit. Available in 12-inch and 24-inch heights, this model is sized specifically with a 24-inch height and a 3.25-inch opening to accommodate common rack profiles while maintaining robust protection.

Considerations for use include confirming compatibility with your rack dimensions and ensuring the mounting hardware aligns with your uprights. The 7-gauge steel construction provides substantial impact resistance for frequent loading operations, while the powder-coated finish helps resist corrosion in typical facility environments. This product is categorized under facility maintenance and is suitable for facilities looking to mitigate damage to structural rack components without extensive retrofits or replacements.
