The Savety Yellow 24V-4.25-14 is a traditional V-Faced post protector designed to shield racking and structural posts from incidental impacts in busy facilities. This 24-inch tall steel accessory features a 1/4-inch thick plate with a 4.25-inch clear opening to accommodate standard post dimensions and allow visibility for operators. The unit is powder-coated in Safety Yellow to provide high visibility and corrosion resistance in typical warehouse environments. It is offered with four mounting holes for secure attachment to posts, and is available with optional 1/2" x 3.75" anchors upon request to simplify fastened installation. The manufacturer notes that lead times may extend 2–3 weeks, and quotes should be requested to confirm shipping timelines.
In terms of construction, the protector relies on a solid steel block with a V-facing profile, intended to redirect incidental impacts away from the rack corners and reduce the likelihood of frame damage. The 4.25-inch clear opening ensures that the protected post remains exposed enough for inspection and compatibility with surrounding hardware, while the 24-inch height provides substantial cover for typical mid-height rack columns. The combination of a robust thickness and mounting options supports stable, field-ready installation in material handling spaces where posts commonly encounter pallet trucks and other equipment.
Practical considerations include verifying post dimensions against the 4.25-inch clearance and ensuring appropriate mounting hardware is used for the facility’s mounting surface. The product is sold as an individual unit, with packaging described as each. For project planning, factor in lead times and confirm exact shipping timelines via a quote, especially for larger orders or coordinated facility upgrades.
